Laurel Club 520 was awarded $500,000 through the Maryland Legislative Bond Initiative, a major investment in creating a lasting home for recovery community in Laurel.
We began preparing the required intake documentation to access grant funding and move the project forward.
We signed the lease for our future home at 520 Montgomery Street in Laurel, Maryland.
Initial architectural layout drawings were completed, helping shape the welcoming and functional space the Club will become.
Our official architectural floor plan has been completed — a major milestone in turning our vision into a buildable reality. You can view and download the full floor plan below.
We are working toward resolving the remaining zoning issue so the project can proceed into the buildout phase.
Once grant funds are accessible, we will begin paying for the expenses needed to bring the Club's buildout to life.
We expect the renovation and buildout of the Club's home to be complete by May 2027.
Our goal is to open Laurel Club 520 in June 2027 and welcome the recovery community through our doors.
